Melanie Balestra and Melody Mosley Join the Firm’s Newport Beach Office
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…APRIL 15, 2010…NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF.…Cummins & White, LLP, a well-known diversified business and insurance law practice, is pleased to announce its expansion with two new partners joining the firm. Melanie Balestra and Melody Mosley bring more than 35 years of collective experience to Cummins & White, rounding out the firm’s established healthcare and insurance practices.
Melanie Balestra has joined the firm’s healthcare practice group and focuses on issues that affect healthcare providers, including nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physical therapists, pharmacists and dentists. She represents clients before their respective boards in California and Arizona and assists healthcare providers in setting up practice in a variety of areas including family practice, aesthetic medicine and other specialty areas. Additionally, she handles medical malpractice insurance coverage and defense work. Ms. Balestra also is a pediatric nurse practitioner and continues this profession at the Laguna Beach Community Clinic in Laguna Beach, Calif.
Melody Mosley brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm’s insurance practice group. Ms. Mosley’s practice focuses on insurance law, specializing in examinations under oath and insurance coverage work in property and claims under commercial, homeowners, renters and automobile policies. Additionally, she is an expert at handling arson, suspected fraud, and claims involving mortgagee issues. Prior to joining Cummins & White, Ms. Mosley was in private practice and previously was a partner at Berger Kahn.
